The 2024 Survey of Women’s Experiences of Maternity Services was the ninth national survey carried out at KGH and involved another 120 NHS acute trusts in England. The purpose of the NHS National Survey of Women’s Experiences of Maternity Services is to improve the quality of services that the NHS delivers and understand what service users think about their care and treatment. The report provides an overview of the 2024 Care Quality Commission (CQC) survey for women’s experiences of maternity services for antenatal, labour and postnatal care. The results from the survey were published on the CQC website on 28 November 2024. One of KGH actions is improvement of discharge process. The question asked to service users is: On the day you left hospital, was your discharge delayed for any reason?
